The SnapBait Triple Threat is a hybrid bait jig for Australian reef fishing — a weighted jig body with a lumo squid skirt and hand-tied BKK twin assist hooks, fished either as a straight jig or tipped with bait. It's made in sizes from 20g to 405g, covering inshore reef in 15m through to deep drops past 100m in heavy current.
The skirt-and-bait combination is what separates it from a standard slow pitch jig: it holds a bait strip without fouling the assists, so it works on sessions where the fish want scent as well as movement. It flutters on the drop for slow pitch work and stays stable on a fast retrieve for vertical jigging — hence the name.

What size Triple Threat for snapper?
60–80g in 20–40m of water covers most Australian snapper fishing. Move to 110g if there's current running or you're drifting fast enough that a lighter jig won't hold bottom.
Can you fish the Triple Threat with bait?
Yes — that's what the hybrid design is for. A strip of squid or pilchard on one of the assist hooks fishes without fouling the skirt, which is the main difference between this and a standard slow pitch jig.
