Dark Brown and Brown/Orange are the natural prawn colours for clear water and bright light. Pink and RedLine are the high-visibility options for stirred-up water, low light and dawn sessions. Blue suits clean coastal water and open sand flats.
How to fish it
Fish it as a lift-and-drop, not a wind-and-hope. Cast, let it sink to the bottom, then lift the rod tip sharply 30–50cm — you'll feel the blade buzz — and let it flutter back down on a semi-slack line. Almost every take comes on the drop, so a tight line pulls the lure away from the fish.
Over sand flats, keep the lifts short and the pauses long. Around structure and drop-offs, sharper lifts trigger reaction strikes from bream and jacks. On flathead, let it sit on the bottom longer than feels right — they'll pin it stationary.
